Events: A clothing giveaway will be held at Friendship Baptist Church, 101 Friendship St. in Hamilton. Gently used clothes for the entire family will be given to those in need a.m.–noon. 706-628-5006 or 706-628-5027.

Jefferson Street Market featuring local wares and produce is 9:30 a.m. to noon at 625 Jefferson St.

The Active Life wellness center, 140 Ragland St., hosts dancing 7–10 p.m. with Jimmy Smith and New River Band. Cost is $5 per person. Adults of all ages welcome.

Meetings: Self Help Harbor, 909 Stonewall St., hosts AA meetings 10:30 a.m. for women, 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Events: Unity in the Community hosts a march gathering 2:30 p.m. at the Chamber of Commerce on Bull Street. It will travel down Lafayette Parkway to Calumet Village, where there will be speakers. Celebrate Recovery, a faith-based recovery program, meets at 3 p.m. at Hogansville First Baptist Church.

Churches: Smith Chapel United Methodist Church, 6225 Hopewell Church Road in Pine Mountain, will celebrate its Men’s Day at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. Jairo Gay and Louise United Methodist Church will guests.

Callaway Baptist Church hosts discipleship training, youth and children’s classes at 5 p.m.

Uplifting Your Faith Ministries, 104 Youngs Mill Road, hosts spiritual counseling/healing at 5 p.m. with Bishop R.L. Darden.

Events: New Beginnings Baptist Church, 506 Ware St., hosts its Fifth Annual Celebration with Faith, Love and Hope Dr. Martin Luther King Birthday holiday program at 10:30 a.m., sponsored by Uplifting Your Faith-Bethesda Outreach Ministries. A beginner scrapbook class is offered at the Active Life Center on Ragland Street at 1 p.m. There is no cost for the class. A registration form and supply list can be picked up at the center.

Meetings: The West Georgia Health Board of Trustees meets 5:15 p.m. in the Board Room of West Georgia Medical Center.

The Troup County branch of the NAACP comemorates the annual birthday celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. 6 p.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 1109 E. 10th St. in West Point.

Exhibits

LaGrange Art Museum presents the exhibition Mirror Mirror through Saturday. in partnership with Hills & Dales for a year-long celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Callaway family home. Featuring portraiture mirroring portraiture, the exhibit takes a look at portraiture across centuries and cultures, and will include some Troup County residents. LaGrange Art Museum, 112 Lafayette Parkway, is open Tuesday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. 706-882-3267
