Instead, the driver of the pickup hit the back end of the SUV, causing moderate damage, according to the report.

The driver of the SUV told officers the driver of the truck got out and asked her if she was alright, then got back in her truck and left.

According to the victim, the truck was last seen heading south down Mooty Bridge Road.

Police are investigating.

Ankle monitoring bracelet found

A woman taking care of her rental property at the intersection of Reeves and Mulberry streets made a strange discovery while mowing her grass Monday morning.

The woman located a GPS ankle monitoring tracking device, according to the police report.

Police believed it belonged to the Felony Probation or Parole departments.

Parole contacted LPD and said the device was not their unit.

According to the report, the monitor had been cut and was still covered with sweat marks on the interior of the band.

Police do not believe it had been lying in the grass for very long.
