LaGRANGE — The Daily News is hosting its 2016 Reader Satisfaction Survey and the chance to win two tickets to see Willie Nelson live at Sweetland Amphitheatre on May 29.

The tickets are provided courtesy of Sweetland Amphitheatre and its 2016 Summer Concert Series sponsored by Bud Light. To enter to win, readers must complete the survey online at www.lagrangenews.com/survey or visit the newspaper office at 105 Ashton St. and complete a paper survey.

“We want to make sure we’re offering the community the product they want and deserve,” said Jeff Parra, publisher of the Daily News. “We’re taking this as a serious opportunity for us to listen — and respond — to our readers, and we hope as many people as possible will respond.”

The survey, which is 10 questions, will be open through at least May 1, at which time an entrant will be notified he or she has won the two tickets. The winner will be chosen through a random drawing of phone numbers submitted by survey takers. The tickets are general admission lawn seats.

“Our goal is to take the temperature of the community, and find out where we’re excelling, as well as find out what new ideas people have for the Daily News,” said Parra, who became the newspaper’s publisher in February. “I’m looking forward to hearing what people have to say. Of course, we’re grateful to Sweetland Amphitheatre for supporting this project and look forward to sending two folks to see Willie Nelson in May.”

Employees of the Daily News, their family members and other employees of the Daily News’ parent company, Civitas Media, are ineligible to win the tickets.

To be notified of winning, the entrant must provide a valid daytime telephone number. The Daily News will contact the winner by phone on May 1. If the winner does not claim their prize within three business days, another winner will be drawn.
