The railroad crossing on Roanoke Road, near the Piggly Wiggly, will be closed for one week beginning Monday, according to the Troup County Sheriff’s Office.

The section of road will be closed due to work being done by CSX Transportation on that section of the railroad.

The TCSO advises residents who regularly travel that way to make plans for an alternate route.
