Scott Stricklin, the new head baseball coach at the University of Georgia, is offering a two-day camp at Callaway High School this weekend.

The camp will be held Saturday and Sunday, and the hours will be 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. each day.

The camp is open to players from the age of eight, to anyone still in high school.

The cost is $100 for both days.

Spots in the camp need to be reserved by Friday at noon.

To reserve a spot, email Callaway baseball coach Dusty Hubbard at, or call (706) 302-1616.

Stricklin is taking over for David Perno, who was fired after 12 years as Georgia’s coach.

Stricklin, 41, comes to Georgia from Kent State where he was 350-188 the past nine seasons.

The Golden Flashes made it to the College World Series in 2012.
