Two robbers sought in home invasion

Police are seeking two robbers who entered an apartment in the 500 Borton Street on Friday, held three people inside at gunpoint and demanded money.

According topolice, the two gun-wielding robbers entered the home through an unlocked back door about 2:30 p.m. Friday. They ordered the three people inside, one resident of the apartments and two Columbus residents, to the ground.

The two males told the victims to “give it up,” the report said, but the victims said they didn’t have anything. A robber grabbed one of the victims’ purse and the two fled toward Revis Street.

The robbers were described as black males in their late teens to early 20s, both thin build between 5-foot-10 and 6 feet tall. Both wore blue jeans and black jackets with hoods. One had a camouflage mask and the other a black mask.

Police were investigating.
