A two-car collision occurred at the intersection of Fourth Avenue and Murphy Avenue this afternoon.

According to officials and witnesses at the scene, a white Dodge Caravan was traveling eastbound on Fourth Avenue, when a red Toyota Camry, traveling southbound on Murphy Avenue, allegedly ran a stop sign and collided with the van.

The Camry spun out into the yard of Church of Christ.

Three males were involved and all were transported to West Georgia Medical Center.

An officer on the scene said the passenger of the Camry was stuck in the car and the jaws of life were used to extract him.

The injuries are unknown but police said both the driver and passenger of the Camry complained of neck and back injuries and the driver of the Caravan complained of chest pain.
