A native of Chicago, John has been in the newspaper business for 38 years, starting in advertising sales at a small weekly in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. He has worked at newspapers in Michigan, Wisconsin, Mississippi and Ohio. He joined the LaGrange Daily News in August, 2011. As a Group Publisher he also has responsibility for Heartland Publications newspapers in Ohio, Kentucky and Georgia.
Taking care of the customer is his top priority. He believes in the power of newspapers, both print and online, and loves to hear suggestions from readers about how to make our products more relevant, informative and entertaining.

An Ohio native, Karen has been in the newspaper and advertising field for 29 years.
She started her career as an advertising representative for The Wapakoneta Daily News. She then became retail advertising manager for Amos Press Inc. Then returned to Wapakoneta as advertising/marketing director for both The Wapakoneta Daily News and The St. Mary’s Evening Leader. During this time, she was also creative/sales director for their in house marketing agency - Marketing Etc., and Florida Living Magazine.
In December of 2011, she accepted the position of General Manager/Advertising Director for The LaGrange Daily News.
A strong believer in the value of community newspapers, she is also an advocate of online and mobile opportunities for our advertisers. Karen welcomes the opportunity to meet with clients to discuss their marketing options with The LaGrange Daily News.

A native of North Carolina, Alissa has been in the newspaper business for 17 years, starting as inserter at her hometown newspaper in Clinton, NC. Through the years she held positions as the Mailroom Manager, Circulation Accounts Manager, and Circulation Manager. She is a 2008 graduate of Mount Olive College with a Bachelor in Business Administration with a minor in Human Resources. She is currently completing her MBA at Ashford University with plans to graduate in the fall of 2013. Alissa joined the LaGrange Daily News in October, 2012 to manage Circulation operations at the LaGrange Daily News and The Thomaston Times. Customer service is Alissa’s top priority and she looks forward to helping readers with any issues concerning the delivery of their newspaper.

Kevin Eckleberry has been the sports editor at the LaGrange Daily News since the fall of 2002, continuing a journalism career that began in 1993 after he graduated from Georgia Southern University.
Kevin's first job was at The Daily Citizen in Dalton, Ga., where he was a sports writer, and he also been a sports writer at the Rome News-Tribune in Rome, Ga., as well as the editor of the Lee County Herald, a weekly newspaper in Leesburg, Ga.
Before coming to LaGrange, Kevin was the sports editor for four years at The Daily Tribune News in Cartersville, Ga.
Kevin has a wife, Julie, who is an accountant at the Boatwright firm in LaGrange, and he has a daughter, Rachel, who is in the fourth grade at Westside Magnet School.
