Theft/Burglary


Police responded to a burglary in progress in the 300 block of Highland Avenue. Items stolen included a Nintendo DS and approximately $200 in change. A 50 inch television was stolen as well but was found in the woods behind the house.


An employee of Texaco in the 1500 block of Lafayette Parkway reported that in the last two weeks someone has been stealing from the coin operated amusement machine. She stated that the machine is missing $1,704.


A person reported their car had been broken into on Mooty Bridge Road. Items stolen included an iPad Mini, a Garmin GPS, one red tool box containing a slide hammer and one silver tool box with a 10 ton hydraulic DA Sander. The total value of the items is unknown.


A man from the 900 block of Borton Street reported that his girlfriend allegedly spent $200 on his debit card without permission.


A woman reported a orange, white and black BMX bicycle was stolen out of her yard on Baugh Street. The biccyle is valued at $125.


Criminal Trespassing


A man from the 100 block of Belmont Court reported that someone damaged a back window of his home with a BB gun. The damage is reported to be less than $500.


Arrest


Two male juveniles from Troup County High School were arrested on charges of battery and transported to Troup County Jail.


Marleniya Barrio, 46, of LaGrange was arrested on charge of identity fraud.
