LaGrange police responded to a call for the report of a theft at the Bob Wolfe Landscaping business off Mooty Bridge Road.

The owner said sometime during the night someone cut through the chain link fence and stole two power edgers, four weed eaters, one hedge clipper, three backpack blowers, and a chainsaw. The total value is more than $2,500 dollars.

Police are still investigating.


LaGrange police are also still investigating a burglary at a home in the 200 block of North Barnard Avenue.

The victim said her 40 inch flat screen LED TV was stolen from her living room.

Entering Auto

The Troup County Sheriffs Office responded to a report of an entering auto off Webb Road.

The victim states someone broke into her Toyota Sienna and stole $345 in cash and her Blackberry Storm cellphone.

Deputies are still investigating.
