LaGrange police are investigating an assault where a man’s girlfriend allegedly cut him with a kitchen knife and bit him Saturday morning.
According to a police report, officers responded to the 100 block of Royal Court about 2:54 a.m. where they met with the victim, who claimed that his girlfriend allegedly cut him multiple times on the left forearm and bit him on the left bicep. Officers also observed several finger nail scratch marks around the right side of his neck.
The report said that the victim wanted to go to a club where he works, which upset the girlfriend. She allegedly grabbed a large kitchen knife and proceeded to attack him in the back bedroom of the residence. The altercation turned into a struggle as he tried to disarm her. After she was disarmed, the woman woke up the four children at the residence and left.
