MOBIS Georgia recently donated to the Troup County School System’s Science, Technology, Engineering and Math initiative, STEM.

Troup County Board of Education at a meeting thanked Marshall Murray and Daniel Park of MOBIS for the donation. Board member Debbie Burdette gave the following commendation:

“Mr. Murray and Mr. Park, Troup County School System would like to take this opportunity to thank you and MOBIS Georgia for the recent donation of funding to support STEM – Science, Technology, Engineering and Math – in our schools. MOBIS Georgia has provided $6,800 to each high school – Callaway, LaGrange and Troup high – for STEM and $1,800 of those funds will be shared with each feeder middle school.

The funds provided from the generosity of this grant will allow the school to purchase additional supplies and equipment to enhance science, technology, engineering and math instruction in the classroom. This type of technological advancement is important to the community for our next generation of workforce.

MOBIS Georgia has also provided $1,000 in donations to support reading programs in four elementary schools – Callaway, Hillcrest, Hogansville and West Point elementary. The company’s total contributions to TCSS equals $24,400.

We appreciate our partnership with MOBIS Georgia and their continued support of Troup County School System students in an effort to support our community and improve the lives of thoses who live in it.

Thank you, again, from the entire school system.”
