The LaGrange Cotillion Club held its 86th Debutante presentation and ball on Dec. 26 at Del’Avant Event Center. Dr. George Childress served as emcee for the evening. The band, Lisa and the E-Lusions, provided the entertainment for the evening.

The LaGrange Cotillion Club was first formed in 1927, with Mrs. Liz Rakestraw serving as the first president of the club. Over the years, our members have become successful women in not only our community but other communities throughout the state.

The debutant members completed two service projects this year. The first project was in July with the River Keepers. The young ladies painted a rain barrel to be used by the residents of Twin Cedars as a source of water for their garden and vegetables.
