Events: Troup County NAACP hosts a candidate forum at the William Griggs Recreation Center, 716 Glenn Robertson Drive, at 7 p.m. Candidates will be asked questions regarding economic justice, education, health, voting rights, public safety and criminal justice.

Churches: Confidence Missionary Baptist Church, 705 Colquitt St., hosts an Empowerment Revival at 7 p.m. The Rev. Stanford Dudley of Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church will be guest speaker.
