Events: Downtown LaGrange Development Authority hosts a community walk to celebrate the newest attraction, the Downtown Walking Tour, from 9 a.m. to noon. Market on Main farmers will be on hand to sell cool-weather crops and there will be giveaways for the first 100 participants. In addition to the walking tour, Bellevue will be offering free historic tours from 9 a.m. to noon. 706-884-8671


March of Dimes’ annual March for Babies kicks off at 10 a.m. at Hollis Hand Elementary School. The 3-mile walk is a fundraiser that honors babies born healthy and those who need help to survive and thrive. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. To register, visit www.marchforbabies.org.

Events: First Baptist Church on the Square hosts a musical drama about the Nancy Harts at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary about the faith and courage of the local Nancy Harts during the Civil War. Carol Cain, a noted storyteller, is narrator. Troup County Archives will have exhibits about Nancy Harts, and some local folks who participate in reenactments all across the southeast will be on hand an hour before the musical.
