Events to benefit Rick Massey, a former Troup County sheriff’s deputy who was injured in a wreck while on duty, begin with a motorcycle and Jeep ride, barbecue plate sale and bake sale with live music. Registration for the ride begins at 10 a.m. with kick-stands up at 11 a.m. Cost is $20 per vehicle and the first 50 participants get a free T-shirt.
