Events: New Horizon Theatre hosts a yard sale at 8 a.m. in the parking lot behind the theater, 411 W. 8th St., in downtown West Point. The yard sale will have tools, furniture, sound equipment, glassware and many other items - even the kitchen sink. All proceeds will go to the New Horizon Theatre Building Fund.

The Hydrangea Festival is 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Those who come out to downtown LaGrange during the festival will be able to listen to string quartets and trios. Patrons may visit participating shops and restaurants, where they can register to participate in wine and food tasting, and enjoy viewing works of art created by local artists.

Hawkes Library hosts a Book Day Camp with the theme “We Love Pets!” from 9 a.m. to noon each day. Stories, snacks, games, crafts and special furry guests will be included.
