A man is charged with aggravated assault after cutting a man at a gas station Saturday morning.
The incident happened at about 1:30 a.m. Saturday at the Summit 24 Store at 3124 Hogansville Road. Police arrived shortly after the incident to see the victim holding a blood-covered paper towel to his arm.
According to Capt. Dale Strickland of the LaGrange Police Department, cab driver Kimberly Fisher, 48, was transporting the victim when her husband Robert Fisher, 40, also a cab driver, met up with her at the convenience store. An argument ensued between the couple, and Robert Fisher instructed the victim to exit his wife’s cab.
Robert Fisher then argued with the victim and punched and cut him with razor knife as a result.
Robert Fisher has been charged with aggravated assault and felony tampering with evidence and currently does not have bond at the Troup County Jail. Kimberly Fisher is charged with felony tampering with evidence and is held at the jail on $2,000 bond.
