LaGrange police are searching for an unknown person who allegedly stabbed someone Wednesday morning.
According to a police report, at around 1 a.m., officers responded to West Georgia Medical Center in reference to a person stabbed. Officers made contact with Santonio Dunlap, 30, of LaGrange, who had been stabbed in his right forearm and to the left side of his neck.
The report said that Dunlap was walking in the area of Mulberry Street and Reeves Street when an unknown black male approached him and asked him, “let me get something”.
The report said that before Dunlap could answer, the black male allegedly stabbed him with silver knife. Dunlap stated the suspect fled.Dunlap caught a ride to West Georgia Medical Center where he was treated and released.
