Investigators with the Troup County Sheriffs Office are searching for a man accused of shooting another man off Lovic Davis Road four days ago.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies responded to a residence Friday evening where they spoke to Fred Fincher. Fincher told deputies he had been shot by Wilson Strickland two days before while they were riding four wheelers on Lovic Davis Road.
Deputies said Fincher had an obvious gun shot wound to his back. He was then transported to West Georgia Health for medical treatment. After speaking with investigators, Fincher was arrested after being released from the hospital for a probation violation.
Strickland has not yet been arrested.
