A crack in a 12-inch water main on Ashton Street between South Greenwood Street and Harwell Avenue disrupted water to about a dozen area customers this morning, according to LaGrange city officials. The call for the disruption came in about 4:15 a.m., said city Utilities Director Patrick Bowie. Crews were working on accessing the pipe and stopping the leak this morning, and expected to be finished with service restored by this afternoon. Other area customers' water pressure may be affected.
