Alfred Lee Cameron passed away Monday.
Mr. Cameron was born November 30, 1945 to Mrs. Dora Lee Cameron and the late Mr. Ashley Cameron, Sr. in LaGrange, Georgia.
At an early age, he joined the Rising Grove Baptist Church. He fellowshipped with many other churches. He attended the Troup County Public Schools.
He was very active in working on all kinds of cars. He was employed with McDonald Oil Company for many years.
In addition to his father, Alfred was preceded in death by his oldest brother, Mr. Ashley Cameron, Jr.; sister, Mrs. Dianne C. Huzzie; and Mr. John M. Cameron; two nephews, Mr. Alfred Cameron and Mr. Roderick Ridgell.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Sandra M. Cameron; mother, Mrs. Dora Lee Cameron; daughter, Shirlinder; four precious grandchildren, Alexis, India, Ashley, and Charmaine; three brothers, Elijah (Betty) Cameron, Jimmy F. Cameron, and Adam J. Cameron; three sisters, Ora C. Ross, Carolyn C. Roman, and Brenda C. Ridgell, all of LaGrange, GA; one sister-in-law, Mary (Jimmie) Lovelace, Atlanta, GA; one brother-in-law of Atlanta, GA; six aunts, Viola Moss, Katherine Moore, Mable Berry, Bertha Stargell, all of LaGrange, GA; and Katherine Cook, Marietta, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and a multitude of friends; and a special friend, Mr. Steve Hugley.
The Funeral Service will be Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 2:30 at Smyrna Baptist Church with Rev. Lonnie Walls and Rev. Bobby Robinson officiating.
