The Carrollton Trojans got a two-run, walkoff home run from John Gaiter to upened the Troup Tigers 6-5 on Friday in a Region 5-AAAA game.
The Tigers scored a run in the top of the seventh to take a one-run lead, but the Trojans rallied for the Region 5-AAAA win.
The Tigers finished with seven hits, and Tyler Kemp and Tyler Bunn each had two hits, with Bunn driving in a pair of runs.
Troup scored a run in the second inning to take the lead, but Carrollton went on top with two runs in the fourth inning.
Troup tied it with a run in the top of the fifth, but Carrollton answered with two runs in the bottom of the inning to go up 4-2.
The Tigers responded with a pair of runs in the sixth inning to pull even, and they took the lead with the single run in the seventh before Carrollton won it in the bottom of the inning.
Troup, which fell to 5-5 in the region, will be at home against Columbus on Tuesday.
