Armed robberies were among the 75 indictments issued by a grand jury this week for the No-vember term of Troup County Superior Court.
Arraignments are scheduled for Nov. 10 and 13.
Lonnie Wheeler Jr., 21, Lontel Ronnie Wheeler, 18, and Tony Ere Deal, 19, all of LaGrange, were indicted for a botched armed robbery Oct. 2 at Tall Tales Bait and Grocery on New Franklin Road.
They allegedly pointed a gun at the clerk while she was closing the store and forced her back inside, but the alarm went off and they fled without taking anything.
They are charged with attempted armed robbery, kidnapping, aggravated assault, covering part of their faces to conceal their identity and tampering with evidence.
Ricky Lumus Burden, 21, and Sean Bradford McDowell, 23, both of LaGrange, were indicted for a shotgun armed robbery Aug. 17 at a Summit convenience store on Hogansville Road. They also face weapons charges.
Lashaun Turshay Mitchell, 31, of Rapid City, S.D., and Tiffany Nakia Beasley, 25, of Hogansville were indicted on armed robbery charges for allegedly using a knife to steal money from McDonald’s in Ho-gansville on June 6, 2006.
Jonathan Deangelo Brinson, 20, of East Point was indicted for armed robbery, aggravated assault, theft by taking and two weapons charges. He allegedly struck the victim on the head with a gun and stole his car Aug. 11.
Rodriques Green, 17, of LaGrange was indicted on child molestation and statutory rape charges, and a 37-year-old LaGrange man was indicted on charges of incest and child molestation.
Malachi Alfredo Phillips, 28, of Lithonia and Dwayne Antonio Stevens, 25, of Riverdale were re-indicted on charges of murder, armed robbery, aggravated assault and firearms offenses. Assistant district attorney William Hocutt IV said the original indictment needed technical revisions.
The defendants allegedly shot and killed Brian Truitt, 29, of LaGrange on Jan. 23 at Super 8 motel on Lafayette Parkway. Two others were injured in the shooting, including a man who was left paralyzed from the waist down.
