Troup County Certified Literate Community Program is now accepting nominations for the third annual Troup County CLCP Literacy Award.
The annual award honors individuals, professionals, institutions, businesses and organizations that have made considerable contributions to literacy initiatives within our community.
Recipients of the award will come from the following categories: one individual not affiliated or paid on behalf of a literacy organization; one business, institution, or organization; and one literacy professional who promotes literacy awareness as part of their paid position.
Nominations are open to the general public and must be submitted online before Jan. 4. Those wishing to nominate a worthy individual or organization find additional criteria and submit their nomination at www.troupclcp.org.
