March 15

Hope Entertainment and Jackquline Cartwright present pastor William H. Murphy at the Bethlehem Baptist Church auditorium, 1109 E. 10th St. in West Point. Service starts at 6 p.m., doors open at 5 p.m. Other musical guests are Together As One from Montgomery, The Hinds Sisters of Opelika, Ala., Telly Fannings of Columbus, Royal Worshippers of Columbus, O.H. Ministries of Lanett, Ala., and Spread the Word of Valley, Ala. All proceeds will help Hope Enterprises fund its summer feeding programs in Troup and Harris counties, and Chambers, Barbour, Randolph and Lee counties in Alabama.

April 13

True Life Christian Ministries, 500 S. Lee St., will sell chili at noon. A $5 donation is requested. Proceeds will help with Youth Department activities. Delois Leslie, 706-402-3040
