Correction:

The LaGrange Daily News was in error when it stated “… District Attorney Pete Skandalakis, who has stated himself as a Woodruff supporter, ….” in the Page 1 article, “Turner defeated; Foster, Rowe win in runoff,” in the Wednesday, Aug. 22 edition. Skandalakis is a close, personal friend of Sheriff Donny Turner and will remain neutral in his decision for sheriff in the upcoming general election.

I have posted numerous comments without harsh words or profanity, merely pointing out that the authors of some of their articles seem to have a personal vendetta against some of the candidates for office. I am also forwarding my comments to the other publications in the area. It will be interesting to see if the LDN actually publishes my comments on the overtly biased reporting we have experienced throughout this election. It is not only LDN but the other publications in our area. Please stop this style of reporting, I don't like it, maybe you should leave it to the experts like Jerry Springer.

It's obvious to the citizens of lagrange that someone at the lagrange daily news has a personal vendetta against some of the candidates. I have heard numerous people talking about how the local newspapers have become slanted gossip machines...I guess you get what you pay for....

In the first place why don't you try spelling the man's name correct..Also real good timing printing this "correction" AFTER the election..This paper disguts me , news is suppose to be unbiased, and since you have a new Editor, this paper is awful! I am no longer a subscriber, just saw this online as i was looking for sports.
