The LaGrange Daily News won several awards in the Georgia Press Association Better Newspaper Contest 2012, the results of which were announced earlier this month.
Staff writer Jennifer Shrader won third place in the feature writing category.
Sports editor Kevin Eckleberry won second place for sports feature photograph.
Former photographer Robyn Miles Morgan won first place in sports photograph and second place in spot news photo.
Former staff writer Sherri Brown won third place in religion coverage and third place in local news coverage.
