Mrs. Norris was born November 10, 1926 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, daughter of the late Robert and Pate P. Buckalew Earnest.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Allen and LouAnn Norris, and Earl and Carol Norris, all of LaGrange; son-in-law, Reuben Taylor, daughter-in-law, Sue Norris; grandchildren, Brad Norris, Brandy Akins, Denise Wood, Dana Hurst, Wayne Norris, Courtney Hilyer, Angie Morris, Scotty Norris, Clifford Norris, Jr., Christy Yearta, Ginger Truitt, Blake Taylor, Phillip Norris, Stephanie Maxwell, Beverly Norris and Connie Norris; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey L. Norris, Sr.; son, Clifford L. Norris; daughter, Marie Taylor and son, Dewey L. Norris, Jr.
Graveside services were held at 1:30 Wednesday at Restlawn Memory Garden with Rev. Nick Pilgrim officiating. In-lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Mrs. Norris to Georgia Sheriffs Pineland Youth Home, 2048 Young’s Mill Road, LaGrange, GA 30241.
