A LaGrange man was killed in a motorcycle wreck Saturday night.
Georgia state troopers said Michael Joshua Stamey, 24, of Beaver Run was southbound on Sivell Road about 11:30 p.m. His motorcycle ran off the road in a curve, went 95 feet, hit a mailbox and flipped for another 105 feet before landing back in the road, according to a state patrol report.
Witnesses said they had just left Stamey’s house and were on their way to a nearby store when he passed them and they saw him wreck.
Stamey was pronounced dead at West Georgia Medical Center.
