A man said he was stabbed in the face by a man, and police have issued a warrant for the suspect’s arrest.

Reports say that officers responded to the 100 block of Brookside Terrace on Friday night in reference to a man being stabbed. Officers spoke with the victim who said that he had been stabbed in the face by Christopher Crawley, whose age is unknown, of LaGrange.

According to the victim, who is now dating the mother of Crawley’s child, he was at his girlfriend’s house in the 300 block of Park Hill Drive, when Crawley came to the residence and immediately approached the victim. The victim said that he did not listen to what Crawley was saying because he was more concerned with how close Crawley was standing near him. He stated that he pushed Crawley back with twice, and Crawley reached in his pocket and stabbed him in the face with an unknown object.

The victim said that he began to feel dizzy and fell off the porch and into the bushes. The victim’s girlfriend had run out of the house and Crawley ran away from the residence. The victim was treated at West Georgia Medical Center for injuries.

Warrants have been issued for Crawley’s arrest for the charge of aggravated assault.
