Milliken will introduce a new product, “concrete cloth,” in ceremonies at its Brownwood Avenue plant on Thursday.

Sim Skinner, president of performance products, Pete Brewin, co-founder of Concrete Canvas, and others will be on hand at 10 a.m. for a ribbon cutting and demonstration at 300 Brownwood Ave.

“Concrete Cloth is a revolutionary way to think about and use concrete, making it easier and faster to address certain infrastructure challenges such as erosion and storm water control, ditch lining, and concrete and pipe protection, repair and rehabilitation,” a press release from the company said. “With no need for forms or mixing, applications that previously required days or weeks of preparation and installation time can now be completed in hours using Milliken’s Concrete Cloth – saving time, money and labor, as well as reducing inconvenience and frustration.”
