Burglaries, thefts

• A woman reported Tuesday that a wallet containing $40 was stolen from her purse, which was locked in her truck while she was watching a game at Callaway Stadium. She also said that an iPod worth $200 was also taken, according to a police report.

• A resident Tuesday reported that someone had pried open her back door of her residence in the 200 block of Union Street and stole two flat-screen TVs, according to a police report.

• A resident Tuesday reported that a burglar stole a pearl necklace from her residence in the 100 block of Mountville Street. According to a police report, a woman told police that she had left her home between 8 a.m. and returned home at 1 p.m. to find that someone had broken the glass on the side door of her residence. Upon examination of her residence, she noticed the necklace had been taken.
