Mr. William L. Cupp, Jr., 83, of LaGrange passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2012, at his home.

Mr. Cupp was born August 11, 1929, in LaGrange, GA, son of the late William L. Cupp, Sr. and Lela Mae Dennis. He has been retired as a linesman for General Motors Automotive with over 20 years of service. He was also a U. S. Marine Corps Veteran

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Sumlin Cupp, of LaGrange; a brother, Mike Thomason, of Fayetteville, GA; a brother, Joe Thomason of LaGrange; three sons, Dennis Cupp , of Turring, GA, William Klements, of Anderson, SC, and Kerry Cupp, of Fayetteville, GA; 8 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 Friday at the Hunter-Allen-Myhand Chapel with interment to follow at the Historic Sylvester Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Friday, at 21 Braeburn Circle, Atlanta, Ga. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 10:00 until 11:00. Flowers will be accepted.
