LaGrange police charged a woman involved in a two-vehicle accident on West Lukken Industrial Drive with driving under the influence of prescription drugs.
Police gave this account: Susan Hannah, 28, of Teaver Road was driving recklessly on West Lukken Industrial Drive around 12:30 p.m. Monday. The driver of another vehicle headed in the opposite lane stopped in the roadway as she neared him because the driver feared being struck by Hannah’s weaving vehicle. Hannah’s vehicle weaved into his lane and slammed into the front side of his car. No one was injured, but Hannah was treated at West Georgia Medical Center for loss of consciousness caused by a combination of carisoprodal, hydocodone, tramadol, amoxicillin and alprazolam. Prescription bottles containing those drugs were found in her vehicle. Hannah was unable to remember the details of the accident. She was charged with DUI of drugs, reckless driving and failure to maintain lane.
