LaGrange Art Museum hosts an opening reception featuring the photography of noted Hollywood celebrity photographer Douglas Kirkland at the Cochran Gallery at 7 p.m. The Smithsonian-recognized, intimate stage and footlight photography of Atlanta-based Motown photographer Jim Alexander will be shown at LaGrange College’s Lamar Dodd Art Center. Lafayette Society for Performing Arts presents “The Hot l Baltimore,” Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the LSPA Black Box Theater, 214 Bull St. The play, set in the lobby of the Hotel Baltimore, focuses on residents of the decaying property faced with eviction.
