Mrs. Lillie Mae Franklin of LaGrange passed away Friday at West Georgia Health.

Mrs. Franklin, a native of Troup County, was born April 4, 1939 and was the daughter of the late George Sr. and Louise Stenson White. She was a homemaker and was also preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Franklin and her sister, Virginia Roberts.

She leaves to cherish her memories, four children: Mary (Ron) Cox, Willie Franklin, Atlanta; John Franklin and Robert White, Atlanta; five grandchildren: Ronald Alexander Cox II, Groton, CT; Derrick Franklin, Devante Franklin, both of Atlanta; Ashley Washburn, Heather Washburn, LaGrange; sister: Sarah Franklin, LaGrange; brother, George White Jr. (Rosie), Harvey, IL; brother-in-law, Wylie Roberts Sr., Atlanta; many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

The Celebration of Life Service will be Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at 11:00AM at the Saint Paul Baptist Church on Union Street. Rev. Fred Stanley will officiate. Burial will be in the Eastview Cemetery.

The family will be at the home of daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Ron Cox at 100 Highland Avenue.
