Warrants were issued for a woman after she allegedly crashed into her ex-boyfriend’s car.

According to LaGrange police, the victim said he was giving a ride to a female and traveling down Lafayette Parkway about 11 p.m. Friday night when his ex-girlfriend, Jabreka Harris, 30, of LaGrange, approached from behind in her vehicle.

The victim said he stopped his vehicle in the 100 block of Calumet Center and got out to talk to Harris, where the victim said that they had been involved in an ongoing argument because he wanted to end their six-month relationship. He said Harris grabbed his cell phone from his hand and threw it across the ground, causing extensive damage.

The victim said he picked up his phone and and returned to his car when Harris rammed his Cadillac with her Suzuki Forenza. As he started to pull away, Harris again rammed his the left rear corner of his car with the front right corner of her Suzuki.

The victim’s car sustained moderate damage and he said Harris’ car may be missing a bumper.

The victim’s passenger got out of the car and left the area. She later told police she left the vehicle and walked home because she did not want to get involved in the argument, and she echoed the victim’s version of events.

The victim said he left the scene, but Harris continued to follow. He arrived home and called 911.

Warrants were issued for Harris on charges of criminal trespass and leaving the scene of an accident.
