The annual Pat on the Back awards are given to fifth- and sixth-grade boys and girls.
It is a good citizenship award chosen by each school’s counselor. Students receiving these awards demonstrate good citizenship, patriotism, friendship and generosity.
The winners participate in the Sweet Land of Liberty parade at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
