An ospry nest, tree and shallow water marker sit in the water next to West Point Dam. A few weeks ago, they were on dry land, but the lake has increased by more than a foot in the last week, but had dropped as of this morning.
An ospry flies between a nest and tree next to West Point Dam. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers had said the lake is set to remain full this month. The lake elevation this morning was reported at 633.31 feet above sea level, a 0.35 foot drop from Wednesday.
