Dirt on the move at LaGrange landfill
Finally, the dirt is on the move.
Crews began work on Feb. 11 moving dirt from two tracts of land adjacent to the LaGrange Landfill on Greenville Road.
The city bought the land for about $500,000, but it’s worth it.
The landfill has to be covered with dirt daily to comply with federal environmental rules.
