Deal signs bills aiding foreign drivers
Gov. Nathan Deal used Kia Motors’ training center as a backdrop on Wednesday to sign two bills designed to make life easier for international residents living and working in Georgia.
House Bill 475 will start a reciprocal driver’s license program for legal international citizens, and Senate Bill 122 will allow non citizens to apply for an extension of their Georgia driver’s licenses within a certain time frame.
