Man arrested on sale, possession of methamphetamine

Investigators with the Troup County Sheriff’s Office arrested a LaGrange man on several drug charges after he allegedly tried to sell methamphetamine.Kevin Lamar Allen, 28, was arrested Thursday morning at about 1:17 a.m. at Bull and Broome streets.According to officials, Allen allegedly engaged in the selling of drugs before investigators pulled him over in a parking lot.Allen was arrested and taken to the Troup County Jail. He is facing charges of sale of methamphetamine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and use of communications facilities to complete a drug transaction.
