Circle K employee robbed at gunpoint

Early Friday morning LaGrange Police officers responded to an armed robbery at the Circle K convenience store off Roanoke Road.Officers say the store employee was cleaning the parking lot at about 3:15 a.m. when he said two unknown black males came up behind him and dragged him back inside the store. The victim said the suspects ordered him to open up the cash register, then struck him in the head with a hand gun. Police say the two men got an undisclosed amount of cash, then took off on foot towards Vernon Road.Police said the victim described the suspects as black, between 16-20 years of age, between 5’5” - 5’11” in height and both had a slender build.Police are still investigating.
