Police release more info on weekend homicide

LaGrange police are searching for a vehicle in connection with a murder that occurred Sunday in LaGrange near Dawn Drive.Chris Pritchett, a detective with LaGrange police, said law enforcement are searching for a dark gray Chevrolet Impala that belonged to the victim, DeJerius Hardnett, 20, of Callaway Avenue. The vehicle’s tag number is PRA5337.Police confirmed that they were looking for a person of interest, but declined to name the individual at this time, citing the on-going investigation. LaGrange Police released a video today on Facebook that shows the suspect, described as an African American male who is 6 feet.
