The Sons of Lafayette will be lifting up their voices to the heavens this weekend at the First Presbyterian Church at the corners of Broad and North Lewis Streets.The all male choir is pulling out all the stops in their annual Spring Concert, including the official debut of the Shoal Creek quartet. The group’s musical choices will feature all American composers and will include classical selections, some novelty pieces, and a few songs from the Beatles.“We’ve worked a little harder individually because we have new pieces. We’re trying to work without the scores in front of us too,” explained Harold Tarpley, president of the Sons of Lafayette.


First step for Warriors
