Both drivers and three passengers were treated at West Georgia Medical Center, but their names and conditions were unavailable from the Georgia State Patrol on Saturday night.
Burglary
The owner of LaGrange Auto Parts at 409 Greenville St. arrived at work Friday morning after a two-day Christmas break and found two cinder blocks removed from the building’s back wall. A laptop computer, $40 in change from a vending machine, $15 from a cash register and an envelope containing $100 were missing.
Wreck
A man heard a loud crash outside his residence in the 500 block of Boulevard on Friday night. He opened his front door and saw a utility pole that had been struck by a vehicle leaning against nearby power lines. The vehicle had fled.
Screamer
Police found a man lying on his back on the side of the street near the intersection of Hamilton and Jarboe streets screaming profanity at bystanders Friday night. The man was charged with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.
‘Be right back’
LaGrange police accused a woman of driving through CVS Pharmacy’s parking lot at 201 Greenville St. on Friday night and striking a parked vehicle before fleeing. With the help of tips from witnesses, police later found the woman’s vehicle at Speedy Serve Convenience Store at 201 Whites-ville St. The driver told police she left the scene of the accident to get her insurance card. She was charged with striking an unattended vehicle and having no insurance card.
