Work has been completed on a bridge over Long Cane Creek that provides a rail siding into Kia Motors’ plant in West Point. Cars will be hauled on trains to dealerships throughout the country when Kia starts production late next year. Rail access was a factor in Kia’s decision to build its auto plant on the 2,200-acre site.
