Shoplifting
An employee of Belk department store at 1501 Lafayette Parkway watched a juvenile conceal two pairs of jeans and a pair of shoes in his jacket and attempt to leave the store without paying. The items had a total value of $195.
The youth was charged with theft by shoplifting.
Theft
A thief stole a $200 cell phone from Acceptance Insurance at 1305 Hogansville Road on Monday afternoon.
