Dear Editor:
A special thank you to the nice lady who drove us to IHOP Friday night. My wife and I were heading back to Iowa from the Outback Bowl in Tampa and were not familiar with LaGrange, where we are now visiting relatives.
She had her four young children with her – two were twin girls – along with her girlfriend and yet took time to drive and lead us to IHOP. She was so gracious and refused to accept anything for the cost of gas.
We don’t know her name, but she is a wonderful example of LaGrange’s hospitality to strangers. Being a teacher of young children, I’m sure they are teaching them how to help people.
